In short, our clients tell us that it is the personal touch that sets us apart from the competition.
We build long-term client relationships based on understanding our clients’ priorities rather than working to inflexible keyword indexes.
We pick up nearly all our business from personal recommendations and our good reputation on the public affairs grapevine.
When clients choose our service after trialling us against our competitors, they routinely report that we are faster, more accurate and more responsive. We are proud of that.
We believe automated scanning and tagging systems will only take you so far. You still need the human skill and judgement of an experienced team to sort the wheat from the chaff and provide accurate political and parliamentary monitoring reports.
Clients tell us our ad-hoc research and support are integral to value they get from Randall’s. We pride ourselves on providing focused and incisive support on almost anything our clients need help with, from politics, to policy, to parliament – and back again!
We are happy to discuss any query, and regularly provide stakeholder mapping, constituency research and procedural advice to a range of clients, all delivered with our trademark human touch.
Engaging with clients on research requests is key to our process, allowing us to gauge what methodology would be most appropriate in each case and to deliver a finished piece of work that exactly meets your needs. We treat each query as unique – just like our clients.
Our competitors frequently make a virtue of their relative size. So do we. We know that a smaller organisation will always work harder for its clients. We have an experienced and loyal team and very high levels of staff retention. The net result is a motivated team who are responsive, flexible and ready to go the extra mile for our clients.
We believe professional political and parliamentary monitoring is the foundation on which all good public affairs work is based and take pride in our specialisation. We do not view monitoring as an entry level service from which to sell other services such as advertising, conferences and events.
We strive to deliver the best possible political intelligence service for our clients. We read and understand everything before we send it to our clients and we’re always looking for the unusual and tangential sources to ensure our service is as broad as it is deep.
Our history
We began life as Randall’s Parliamentary Service in 1976 and acquired the Newspoint Agency, based in the Parliamentary Press Gallery of the House of Commons, in 2004.
As we now spend almost as much time monitoring broader political and stakeholder content as we do on purely parliamentary monitoring, we thought it was time to reflect this new reality in our name. Consequently, we renamed ourselves “Randall’s Monitoring” in October 2015.
