Chris Tuohy
Chris was extremely proud of the business model that we have built up at Randall’s over the years, based on a personal approach – political monitoring with a human touch indeed. It is no exaggeration to say that he is irreplaceable.
He had many talents other than political punditry, including an irrational obsession with Queens Park Rangers (reaching far back to Stan ‘the Man’ Bowles) but more poignantly a skill with a camera lens and an eye for a great shot that would make many a professional photographer jealous.
The photos would drop into our WhatsApp inboxes at all times of the day and night, and this is a small selection of those, from the Brighton and Hove seafront where he lived, to Richmond Park where he was often to be found at an unfathomably early hour in the Summer months. Many of the pictures were of the fauna and flora of the South Downs, where he and his wife, Sarah loved to spend time together (and Chris went to forage for wild garlic).
These and many other of Chris’ pictures received over the past years have helped to cheer up our deskbound, London centric lives and remind us of the importance of recognising the beauty and good in the world.
